Meet Peter Glowacki

Vice President
Passionate Educator, Active Father, Listener and Leader
I have had the good fortune of being able to volunteer and give back to the community that has meant so much to me and my family. Growing up in the area, I saw the well deserved reputation the Glenbrook schools had and it was the obvious choice for us when it was time to raise our two children. My father, a self-driven man from Europe, thought me early that education was the key to one’s success. It has opened doors for me throughout my career which I believe it should for anyone.
From my days in broadcasting after graduating from Marquette University with dual B.A.s in Broadcasting/Communications and Psychology to putting myself through law school earning a J.D. and later earning a Masters in Law focused in Informational Technology, to later leading award winning professional development teams at premiere national organizations like the American Bar Association, Residential Real Estate Council and at top law firms such as Sidley Austin LLP and Riley, Safer, Holmes, & Cancila LLP, it provided me insight to how true success is only achieved when everyone works constructively, deliberately, and strategically together.
District 225 is a top national district and we have been committed to providing an environment for learning where everyone can thrive. While I am with the Board I’ll continue to push forward and promote excellence academically, athletically, in the arts and in activities.
The future is uncertain, but what I can promise is that I will continue to work with my colleagues, families, students, the community, the administration, and teachers to make sure the resources and policies needed to be top caliber schools, as the Glenbrooks are known for, are in place with special attention given to making sure we remain fiscally responsible.
We continue to be in the midst of an educational evolution. It is our duty as members of this community to make sure we continue to lead by example, raise the bar, and prepare our children for the new challenges that are ahead of them.
